Provocateur is supposed to – as the name might already have revealed – provoke, surprise and stimulate at the same time. As a completely new hotel brand, the Member of Design Hotels™ causes sensation without exceeding the limits and is therefore unique to Berlin.

The interior design was developed and implemented by Saar Zafrir from Amsterdam. It is a tribute to the 1920s in Paris which meets the urban Berlin of today. Including various niches and seductions, guests will explore sensuality and the love to detail at Provocateur, which is setting trends and breaking new ground as no other hotel has done it before.

Situated in Berlin’s City West, Micky Rosen and Alex Urseanu, in cooperation with Liran Wizman, have identified the best place to establish the burlesque brother of Roomers and to revive the long-lost lifestyle of the 1920s. Provocateur is not far from Ku’damm and has good transport connections to reach all hotspots of the city.

A night in a hotel should always be an experience, a hide away from everyday’s life. Apart from the fact that Provocateur is an experience itself, the Provocateur Mode is fascinating guests. As soon as the room is switched to this mode, the whole atmosphere changes in the room; it is filled with sensual music and transformed by light installations.

As boutique and lifestyle hotel, Provocateur is Berlin’s first shamelessly sensual hotel, which constantly pushes your buttons and makes you push your borders. With restaurant Golden Phoenix by The Duc Ngo, Provocateur Bar based on award-winning Roomers Bar in Frankfurt and interior design by Saar Zafrir, this hotel enriches Berlins gastronomy, as well as with a meeting point at day and night for both guests and locals.

Provocateur has 58 rooms and suites, which promise quality, comfort, and design at the highest level. They are all equipped with Marshall speakers, rainforest showers, a Nespresso machine, Smart TV, free WiFi, air conditioning and the exceptional Provocateur Mode, which puts the rooms into a sensual atmosphere. Dark natural stone and seductive velvet fabrics enchant the rooms with a flair beyond trivial norms.

China meets la vie parisienne: the kitchen of the restaurant Golden Phoenix is grounding on French finesse, combined with the complex and teasing flavours of China. As partner of Gekko Group for many years, friend and creative chef, The Duc Ngo, who is known for his very innovative ideas, has created another concept for success at Golden Phoenix: “Always a balance, salty, sweet, bitter, and sour. This is very refined in Chinese cuisine.”

The drinks of Provocateur Bar make even the wildest of tigers purr like a kitty cat: Based on the award-winning Roomers Bar in Frankfurt, Provocateur Bar is the heart and soul of the hotel. With its burlesque atmosphere and the DJs’ beat, conditions for your way into the wee hours of the night are perfectly set.

Besides the restaurant Golden Phoenix and Provocateur Bar, which can also be used for parties, the basement with a size of 120 sqm has enough space for any event you desire; for product presentations, photo shootings, private dining, or other parties for example. Guests will recognize the industrial charme, which is much loved by Berlin’s locals, but unfortunately gradually less existing in the city.

Comfortable, extravagant, and lascivious elegance meets high requirements for service, quality, and design, which can be experienced by the guests throughout the whole hotel. Roomers Restaurant and Roomers Bar are the hotel’s heart and soul and are not only for hotel guests worth visiting, but also for Frankfurt’s locals who love to party. Another highlight: The skylounge at the sixth level offers an unparalleled view to Frankfurt’s skyline.

Many ideas were born and created in Mannheim. Some ideas changed the world. For example, the car, which was invented by Carl Benz 1886. We think there is no better place to enjoy a classic oldtimer car and explore the region from Mannheim to the Wine area Pfalz, Heidelberg, Schwetzingen and also Baden-Baden. The SYTE Mannheim offers several oldtimer classic cars.
